Bearded Villains Northern Indiana

Disbursement Method: Scholarship funds ($500) are paid directly to the trade school, apprenticeship program, or accredited training center. Funds are not typically paid directly to individual students unless in the form of reimbursement, with proof, at the discretion of Bearded Villains Northern Indiana Officers. 

Allowable Expenses: Funds must be applied toward tuition, books, supplies, lab fees, required tools, or certification testing. 

Final Verification: If selected, final verification with your institution will be conducted before funds are released. Bearded Villains Northern Indiana Officers may require additional documentation or proof of current enrollment and/or expense. 

Non-Discrimination Policy: Bearded Villains Northern Indiana awards the Raymond Hopkins Memorial Tradecraft Scholarship without regard to race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, national origin, age, disability, or marital status. All eligible candidates are evaluated solely on merit, trade program alignment, and application competitiveness.

Privacy & Confidentiality: All applicant details and uploaded proofs of enrollment are kept strictly confidential by Bearded Villains Northern Indiana. Information provided is used solely to evaluate scholarship eligibility and administer awards.

Dates & Deadlines: All applications must be submitted by August 21, 2026, at 11:59 PM CST. The scholarship recipient will be selected and notified by September 1, 2026.

Statement of Fraud & Misrepresentation: All submissions undergo verification. Bearded Villains Northern Indiana maintains a zero-tolerance policy for falsified records or deceptive claims. If an applicant is determined to have provided false, inaccurate, or forged documentation, Bearded Villains Northern Indiana reserves the right to immediately terminate the application, revoke award status, notify the associated educational institution, and seek full reimbursement of any disbursed funds.
